Colclough joins speaker lineup for 2017 Compliance Conference

Thomas Colclough, EEOC CLT
The Carolinas Credit Union League is pleased to have Thomas Colclough, deputy district director for the EEOC Charlotte District Office, join the speaker lineup for the 2017 Compliance Conference September 12-13 in Concord, NC. Colclough’s session is focusing on the latest updates to the American Disability Act and how those changes may affect credit union operations.
He began his career with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 1988. During that time, he held various positions such as investigator, enforcement supervisor, local office director of Greensboro, NC, local director of the Richmond, Va. Office, and area director of the Raleigh Area Office.
On August 10, 2014, he assumed his current position as deputy district director of the EEOC Charlotte District Office. In this role, he works with the program managers and local directors in the management of the federal sector-hearings programs, private sector enforcement, mediation, and state and local programs.
Colclough graduated from Saint Augustine’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and received his Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). He also earned a Certificate in Global Studies from UNCG. Colclough served in the military for 23 years (active and reserve). In 2005, Colclough retired from the North Carolina National Guard at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is also a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College.
