North Piedmont Chapter of CUs - March10 Meeting

Share |

CUaware is a council of the Carolinas Credit Union League created to fill a gap that exists within the credit union industry: staff often do not know what makes credit unions and cooperatives unique and special!  CUaware aims to informally introduce all levels of credit union employees to the CU Movement. This way we can all learn.share.grow.

Created in 2011 by Brandon McAdams and Patrick Livingston (Coastal FCU), CUaware took root in the Triangle region of North Carolina and eventually spread to the Piedmont Triad area in 2012. With the consolidation of the North Carolina and South Carolina Credit Union Leagues in 2014, CUaware is poised to expand into other parts of the Tar Heel State as well as the Palmetto State.

As part of this growth, CUaware has combined forces with South Carolina's CU Forward group with the intention of expanding the monthly meeting schedule in April. For more details on these exciting developments and how you can get involved, please go to the CUaware web site and sign up to receive their newsletters. You may also contact Lauren Whaley, CCUL's liaison for the CUaware group, at (800) 822-8859, ext. 9066 or join the CUaware networking group on the CCUL web site.

CUaware is funded through a generous sponsorship by CUNA Mutual Group.
